Born from Natasha Patel’s lived experience as a first-generation American with Indian roots, this ongoing body of work reimagines ancient architectural motifs, textile patterns, and cultural influences through the fluidity of modern abstract art.

Inspired by the intricate floral carvings of Indian temples, the textures of handwoven saris, and the natural beauty of earth, stone, and water—these pieces are created using acrylic inks, fluid acrylics, and intuitive techniques that embrace imperfection, movement, and emotion.
